      Ahh a favourite physics question!

      If we take the Sun, and look at its light, then we would think its white. Right? But, white light is actually made up of lots of different colours known as a spectrum. When the light from the sun reaches the Earth, the light gets scattered all over the place. Because blue light is scattered more than any other colour due to its shorter wave length then we see the sky as blue!
