I work in a hospital and my job involves carrying out a number of experiments on a variety of equipment. The equipment uses radiation in order to view parts of the human body and so it is my responsibility to make sure the correct amount of radiation is given to the patient and that the equipment will produce good images of the body. This helps doctors work out what is wrong with the patient.
I also carry out projects to help find the latest technology that could be useful in medical physics imaging.
-
My Typical Day:
Carry out a number of tests on a piece of equipment and analyse the results
