      We can’t keep a whole lung on it’s own healthy and growing so what I do is use cells taken from lungs. I’m using the lungs cells to study what happens in asthma, and hopefully that should help treat asthma in the future. Because the lungs are the main site of changes in asthma using the cells from them is a really good way to experiment and they’re human cells so we have more of a chance in transferring our results to whole human treatments!
