We usually read what experiments other scientists have performed on a different tissue or organ or disease, and we see if we can repeat it in our experiment.

Yeah as Mel says, we publish all our results in papers and that means that other scientists can read them and learn things from what we have done. We can also read other people’s work to help us learn new things and give us ideas what to do next. Things in science are constantly changing so its really important that we keep up to date with what is happening in our field!
