      Muscle tissue is made from proteins called actin and myosin. Both of these proteins are made up of building blocks called amino acids (a bit like Lego bricks!). Whey protein is also made up of these building blocks and in the right combination to be built into new muscle tissue. Also, it is really quick to be absorbed when eaten so it gets to work fast!!
