• Question: If you ate a lot of food with iron in it like broccoli, would you become magnetic?=)

      Probably not. Iron is rarely free and circulating in your blood. It is used in your body to make haemoglobin which is a protein that transports oxygen in your blood. If you have a lack of iron in your body you are anaemic.

      Amazing question, I can see exactly where you’re coming from. You wouldn’t because the iron in food and us is bound to many other things that stop it from being magnetic. Just like how stainless steel isn’t really magnetic even though its about 90% iron.

      Still, broccoli is delicious, especially in a stir fry
