      Yes, you’re right – the sun is a HUGE star! It is over a 100 times bigger than earth!

      I think I would like to say that the Sun is a little bigger that 100 x the Earth – the diameter of the Sun is almost a 1,000,000 kM compared with just 6,500 for Earth so if one does the calculation the Sun is 1,000,000 X the volume of Earth. So many zeros!!

      Bit late on the scene but our star is nowhere near the biggest, it’s just that it’s really close so it looks bigger than the ones super far away.
