• Question: what is the most intelligent species after us?

      I would say the great apes because they are very close in evolution to humans. However, surprisingly pigs are very intelligent!

      Indeed, and dolphins too, they can recognise themselves in mirrors are themselves which is incredibly rare in the animal kingdom

      I agree with Mel and Stefan. I have heard Jane Goodall, the chimpanzee biologist, say that she has seen them in quiet contemaplation by a waterfall, almost as if they were at a church service! Brain to weight ratio is also important.
