• Question: Why are you choosing to spend the money on research of bees when your main expertise is in asthma?

      Haha a great question.

      I guess it’s because I really love so many aspects of science, whilst I’m researching asthma I think that people should do something about bees because they seem to be dying off!

      Also this does raise an interesting point, a lot of people in science don’t just stick to one disease (some do definitely do this though). For instance I have a friend who did their PhD in cancer, but then went on to continue in science studying viruses. Some people also change the organism completely, so going from worms to humans!
