• Question: Why did you choose to go into research instead of becoming a practising doctor?

      Ah a good question, I guess it depends on how you want to help people. Doctors have really busy and hectic days directly helping people whereas scientists have the potential to help thousands or more people by pushing science forward.

      On a slight side note, when I applied for university I knew I liked science, but didn’t know whether I would be more interested in ecology/environmental biology or human biology. Turns our I really like how cells work on the tiny scale.
