• Question: why did you decide to go onto im a scientist get me out of here.

      Good question, a lot of my friends asked me the same thing. I think that I never had any one thing that showed me that being a scientist was actually an option for me. I think all of us here really do love science and what we do, and for me I wish I had the chance of asking a scientist questions so that’s why I signed up.

      Also, if I did win it would be really great to be able to spread the knowledge of why our insect pollinators are just so important!

      I found the website through twitter during the last event and I just thought it was such a good idea. We didn’t ever do anything like this at school so I just wanted to be a part of it and share my work with you all. I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am! 🙂

      My friend told me about it. I have a simple mind so when I try and understand a really complicated thing I have to break it down into simple pieces and this is what I do when I teach students at university. I wanted another challenge to see if I could do it with students at school. I would have liked to have met a scientist when I was at school and ask them lots of questions! But I don’t think I would have been able to think of some of the difficult ones that you guys have been asking! They are really tough!
